Student Support / Tutoring

In a world filled with activities, obligations and distractions, few students are organized enough to maximize their academic and personal potential. Research shows that by establishing a positive pattern of organization during the teen years, kids can better face the challenges ahead.

Students tend to be more receptive to listen and learn from a specialist or tutor rather than a parent. An Organized Student takes an engaging, one-on-one approach in teaching your student successful organization and time management skills.

Our comprehensive program includes:
  • Evaluation and assessment of individual organizational needs
  • Designing a home filing system for organizing school notes, papers and tests
  • Creating a well-organized, functional binder system
  • Lightening the load of the backpack
  • Learning to use the daily planner effectively
  • Transforming the school locker into a well-utilized space
  • Arranging an efficient and comfortable home study space
  • Developing essential time management skills
  • Establishing organizational patterns and strategies for the future

educational workshops
Host an Organizational Seminar in your home.

Margie Heisler, founder of An Organized Student, will reveal fundamental methods and strategies for success in these innovative seminars/workshops. You will learn valuable tips and guiding principles to teach your child the essential organizational strategies for school or adult organization methods for home or office

Here's how it works:

As a host, you invite a handful of your favorite friends and family to share in an evening of organizational and time management tips and strategies.

The 90-minute seminar/workshop will be both informative and engaging, filled with organizational advice, methods and ideas that can be put to immediate use. The topic can be selected from workshops listed in the "educational options" link or customized to fit the specific needs of the participants. Of course, there will be plenty of time for questions and answers. It's guaranteed to be an informative, fun evening for all.

A minimum of 8 participants and a fee of $15 per person is required. As a gift, the host is free.
